They are a fun mix, with rambunctious kittens, laid-back but friendly Maltsby, and shy Muffie. I think the kittens are a little overwhelming for Muffie, so it would be best to let her out and feed her her wet food outside the cage while they are still in theirs.
We are almost out of adoption applications already! I'll bring some more for the PM shift.
Curious Catawba caused a spill of the dirty water canister, so I had some mopping up to do, and I'll know for the future to keep the lid on tight.

She remains shy, hiding in the bottom corner of her cage. But she came right out for wet food (with no other cats out), and she ventured out a little to get treats, too, but at that point the kittens were playing in the room, and she quickly retreated from the front of her cage.

Maltsby came right out. He did a little playing and stuck close to me as I moved around, accepting attention, then went back into a cage (not his own) to relax.

This playful duo were on the go pretty much the whole time I was there after I let them out. One of them (I didn't see which, but I suspect Scarlet) even managed to climb up to an overhead shelf and knock some stuff down from there, so that's something to watch out for. Fun and friendly. Toward the latter part of my shift, Catawba got up beside me on the bench, purring loudly while getting attention.
