Every year hundreds of cats, including kittens, are at risk of being euthanized in shelters throughout New Jersey and the surrounding area. Trenton Cats Rescue works to save as many of these cats as possible, but without foster families willing to temporarily provide a safe home for a cat or kitten, we can’t take in any animals.
Fostering is the most impactful thing you can do. Foster parents provide a temporary safe haven for cats in our program — kittens too young for adoption, cats recovering from illness or surgery, or cats who simply need a quiet home environment to thrive.
