General Comments
All the cats came out for at least a bit.

A prospective volunteer stopped by; she plans to fill out a volunteer application on the website. She interacted well with the cats while visiting.

We are getting low on Hills canned cat food. I'll get more from the store tomorrow.

Health concerns
She had diarrhea while I was there.
Other comments
Muffie is getting bolder. She came out of her cage (no other cats were out) without me luring her, albeit I was dishing up wet cat food at the time. She ate her food while out but then went back in for most of the rest of the time. She doesn't care for the metal grate at the bottom of the cage (the part that lifts out separately) — its noise bothers her. She moved around much more readily when I lifted it out and set it aside.

She welcomed attention and leaned into pets, but she did give a gentle bite (no breaking of the skin), to signal when she was done, I think.

Health concerns
He coughed a few times after he went back into his cage, but it wasn't repeated.
Other comments
He wandered around a bit while out, sticking by me to get some attention, and then went to the bottom of the cat tree for most of my shift, whence he watched the kittens playing. Eventually, he was ready to go back into his cage, where he climbed up to a shelf where he could snooze and look out.

Playful as always, and affectionate, too. Scarlet loves to chase the ping-pong balls if you bounce them off the floor.
