Trenton Cats Rescue
Trenton Cats Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based, 501c3 rescue group in the greater Trenton, NJ area.
Sweet Mama Lucia (who we think is one year old) was surrendered with her babies. She loves attention and watching out the window at the birds. With a slow introduction she will be good with another quiet cat. This very loving girl didn't have a very easy first year of life. We'd like to get her the forever home she deserves where she will a cherished and loved pet.
Rose (who we think is one) was found outside all alone. We're not sure how she got there but we're glad the person who found her brought her into the shelter so she would be safe. She just moved into one of our foster homes and she is glad to be back in a home environment again. She's sweet, mellow and loves to be loves to be petted. She is getting to know the resident cats in her foster home. This very nice kitty is hoping to get a home soon and this time she wants it to be forever.
Our Black panther Davon is three years old. In those three years Davon has had quite an eventful life. A kind person in Trenton noticed him on the street in February 2024 and trapped him. Davon was SO friendly (it was pretty obvious someone had loved him at one point, not sure how he ended up outside), he got adopted in March of 2024 shortly after he came to us. Unfortunately, his owner recently had some personal difficulties and had to regretfully surrender him back to us. He just moved into one of our foster homes and is sleeping on and cuddled up with his foster mom already. He loves being petted, rubbing against people and loves belly rubs. He does well with his foster family's dog and has met a toddler he was perfectly fine with. This guy is just an all around great kitty. He said he's only three and he's tired of all the change he has been through . He wants a forever home soon and this time he wants it to really be forever.
Danica (who is 2 years old) is a sweet, gentle girl who came into foster care very pregnant. She must have had someone love her in her past, though, because she is the most affectionate girl. She will just wait patiently by you until you pet her. She loves belly rubs, and playing, and especially loves food. She’s a silly girl, who still acts like a kitten when she’s taking care of her baby, but it’s time she found a home of her own. She is looking for a forever home that’s kind of quiet, for her dignified times, but also a family that will appreciate that sometimes, a girl just has to let loose and be silly.
